A Test of Grit, A Showcase of Strength
This past September, from the 1st to the 30th of 2025, Fitness Matters was proud to host The Ultimate Gym Grit Challenge. The centerpiece of this electrifying event was our formidable 70° Treadwall, where our members gathered to defy gravity and push their limits. We witnessed an incredible month of strength, grit, and coordination, and we are thrilled to report on the immense success and inspiring performances.
About the Challenge
The 70° Treadwall Hangout Challenge was designed as the ultimate test of endurance. Participants were challenged to hang from the unforgiving 70-degree incline for as long as their strength would allow. The atmosphere was charged with determination as competitors battled not just the clock, but their own physical and mental boundaries. It was a true testament to the spirit and perseverance that defines the Fitness Matters community.
How It Worked
The challenge operated under a simple set of rules throughout its duration:
Participants began by registering to officially enter the competition.
Every attempt was meticulously recorded on video by our dedicated staff to ensure accuracy.
Competitors had the freedom to challenge the wall as many times as they wished throughout September.
Final placings were determined by the single longest hang time achieved.
