What are the opening hours of Fitness Matters Jimboomba?Fitness Matters Jimboomba is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for gym access. Our manned hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and Mon – Thur 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

What facilities do you offer at the gym?We offer a range of facilities including a functional training room, group fitness room, cardio area, free weights area, climbing training area, infrared sauna, body fit machine area, and a Kids Zone. We also have a supplement store and vending machines.

Do you offer group fitness classes?Yes, we offer a variety of group fitness classes including Les Mills programs, Zumba, Functional Fit 45, pilate, Cycle, Core, and more. All group classes are included in your membership.

Do I need to be a member to use the gym?No, we offer a casual pass for only from $19.95. We also accept Fitness Passport members.

What types of memberships are available?We offer gym-only and gym + class membership options and gym + class membership options with premium access to infrared sauna and body composition scan. Both memberships are available for month-to-month, 6 months, or 12 months.

Is there a trial period or guest pass available?Yes, we offer a 5 days free trial for those interested in trying out the gym before committing to a membership.

Can I bring a guest with me to the gym?Yes, members are allowed to bring a guest with them for a one off complimentary free trial of the gym during manned hours.

Is the gym equipped with security cameras?Yes, we have security cameras installed throughout the gym for the safety and security of our members.

Are there any rules or regulations I need to follow while using the gym?We have a set of rules and regulations in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our members. These rules are posted throughout the gym and are also available online.

Can I change my current membership to Fitness Passport?Yes, you can change your membership to Fitness Passport, provided you have fulfilled the terms and conditions of your current contract. If you are on a minimum term contract (e.g., Gym 12-Month Plan), you will need to provide 30 days' notice, complete a Change of Membership form, and pay a cancellation fee of $250. If you are on the Gym Flexi Plan, you will need to provide 30 days' notice and complete a Change of Membership form. Please ensure all requirements are met before submitting your request for a membership change.

What are your gym membership cancellation policies?1. Commitment Memberships (Fixed Term): Members who wish to cancel their fixed term membership (e.g., Gym 12-Month Plan) before the end of the contract must provide a 30-day written notice and pay a cancellation fee of $250. If a member cancels within the cooling-off period (typically 48 hours from signing), they may cancel without any fees. 2. Non-Commitment Memberships (Month-to-Month): Members on a non-commitment membership can cancel at any time with a 30-day notice. There is no cancellation fee, but the member will be required to pay for any outstanding fees before cancellation. 3. Membership Suspension: Members can suspend their membership for up to 12 weeks for reasons such as personal illness, injury, or holidays. The suspension request must be submitted in advance. 4. Permanent Sickness or Physical Inability: Members can cancel their membership due to permanent sickness or physical incapacity if they provide a medical certificate confirming they cannot exercise for a period of 12 months or longer. The membership might be cancelled without penalty if all necessary documentation is provided. 5. Transfer of Membership: Members can transfer their membership to another individual, provided they are not in arrears with payments. A membership transfer administration fee may apply. 6. Late Payments or Failed Payments: If a member’s payment is unsuccessful, they may incur a failed payment fee ($10) and may be responsible for any costs associated with recovery, including collection agency fees. 7. Cooling-Off Period: Members have the right to cancel their membership within the first 48 hours after signing with no cancellation fee. Do we change nappies?staff do not change nappies but will get your attention if required. We do have nappy changing facilities in the ladies and men’s bathrooms.

What if my child is sickplease keep your child home if they are sick to avoid it spreading to others. Sick children will not be allowed to enter the Kids Zone.

How long can my child staywe ask parents to try keep the time in the Kids Zone to maximum of 1.5 hours. In school holidays the booking times are 1 hour blocks allowing everyone a chance to work out.

Food Allergiesplease be aware our Kids Zone is a nut (anything that contains nuts) and pop corn free environment.

AgeWe care for children from 6 weeks up to 11 years of age.
