A Celebration of the Mums Who Keep Jimboomba Moving
This Mother's Day, we set out to do something a little different. Instead of running just another giveaway, we wanted to shine a light on the women who hold so much of our community together — the mums of Jimboomba and the surrounding areas.
Strong Like Mum wasn't about who could lift the heaviest or train the hardest. It was about honouring grit, patience, and heart — the quiet kind of strength that shows up in school runs, late-night feeds, packed lunches, work deadlines, and somehow still making it to the gym (or the lounge-room floor workout) in between.
What the Campaign Looked Like
The invitation was simple. Mums and mother figures across our community were asked to share a glimpse of their real life — a workout, a moment of mum-life chaos, a daily grind, or anything that captured what Strong Like Mum meant to them. They tagged us, tagged three mums who inspire them, and shared a short, honest caption.
Every entry won an instant reward, because we believe every mum deserves a win. One mum walked away with our $200 Club Voucher to spend on whatever supports her next chapter — recovery sessions, personal training, group classes, supplements, or simply taking the edge off her membership fees.
What Made It Special
What moved us most wasn't the entries themselves — it was the tone of them.
There were mums who hadn't stepped into a gym in years and were ready to start again. Mums who train every week and wanted to nod to the women who got them there. Mums tagging their own mums. Daughters tagging their mums. Friends lifting up friends across feeds and stories.
The campaign reminded us of something we already knew but love being shown: strength in Jimboomba isn't a solo act. It's a network of women cheering each other on, often without ever saying it out loud.
A Thank You
To every mum who entered, shared, or tagged someone — thank you. To the mums who didn't enter but still showed up for their families and themselves this Mother's Day — you're seen too.
And to our winner: congratulations. Enjoy every bit of that $200. You've earned it many times over.
Strong Like Mum was never really about the prize. It was about saying, clearly and loudly: we see you, we appreciate you, and we're proud to have you in our community.
