Eligible Employers

Fitness Passport partners with a wide range of employers across various sectors to offer its services. Here are the typical criteria and steps for employers to become eligible and apply to become a Fitness Passport partner:

  1. Large Organizations: Fitness Passport is generally suited for medium to large organizations that have a substantial number of employees. This includes:

    • Government departments

    • Healthcare providers

    • Educational institutions

    • Private companies

    • Non-profit organizations

  2. Employee Health and Wellness Focus: Employers that prioritize employee health and wellness are ideal candidates. These organizations typically recognize the benefits of promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among their workforce.

Criteria to Become a Fitness Passport Partner
  1. Employee Size: There is often a minimum number of employees required for an organization to be eligible. This helps ensure that there is sufficient interest and participation to make the program viable.

  2. Commitment to Wellness: Organizations should demonstrate a commitment to employee wellness. This can be through existing health programs, initiatives, or a stated goal to improve employee health and well-being.

  3. Financial Commitment: Employers usually need to agree to subsidize a portion of the membership cost. This makes it more affordable for employees and encourages higher participation rates.

  4. Geographic Coverage: For organizations with employees spread across multiple locations, Fitness Passport seeks to ensure that there are sufficient participating fitness facilities in those areas to serve all employees.
